Great for chopping small foods such as onions, shallots, garlic, chilies, etc. I love to cook and I have a large set of G&W knives but this knife is a must!
I borrowed a friend's knife and knew I had to get one. He said of all the knives he has, he always picks this one up. It is well balanced and holds an edge.
I never bought one of their knives before. First time I placed the knife in my hand it felt very well-made and comfortable in my hand. Im using this to cut limes and lemons in the bar which I do a lot of. As of today they cut beautifully. Now well see how long this edge stays sharp. Im hoping it lasts for a long time. Will update review in a month after I cut several thousands of limes and lemons with my 5 knife.
This knife is very sharp, well made and has a good weight to it. Definitely worth the money,
Oops I meant the five inch
All above still valid
Invited to dinner and they were using this knife in their kitchen. First I thought it was the prettiest kitchen jewelry I've seen in a while. When she put me to work using this knife I knew I had to have one! Perfectly balanced and felt so good in my hand.
Love these knives
They hold a sharp edge well
